Fontainebleau State Park

Historic park offers 2,800 acres with beautiful cabins built over Lake Pontchartrain, 130 improved campsites, 180 unimproved campsites, nature trails, 3 group camps, lodge, sandy beach, playground with splash pad, and the ruins of an 1829 sugar mill situated among towering oaks. Entrance fee (to the park) is $3.00 for persons 4-62 years old, free for children 3 and under and 63+.

Park Hours: 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday; 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, Saturday and days preceding holidays
Entrance Station Hours - 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday through Thursday; 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, Saturday and days preceding holidays
Splash Pad Hours: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. Closed Mondays for cleaning and maintenance.
